The Ministry of Hajj today received the first batch of pilgrims coming by sea from the Republic of Sudan to Jeddah Islamic Port. The ship, with more than 1,400 pilgrims on its board, arrived at Jeddah Islamic Port amid warm welcome and reception from the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. For their part, the Sudanese pilgrims expressed their happiness with the welcoming program and warm reception accorded to them by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's government and people.
