Dr. Bandar bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, President of the Human Rights Commission, received at his office in Riyadh today the British Minister of State for the Middle East at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and Minister of State at the Department for International Development Alistair Burt and the accompanying delegation. During the meeting, bilateral relations between the two countries as well as regional and international issues of mutual concern were discussed. For his part, Al-Aiban presented the efforts being exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH the Crown Prince in supporting human rights issues in addition to the support being provided by the Kingdom for the fair issues in the world, its relief efforts in Yemen and support for Syrian refugees and the inflicted people all over the world. He also referred to the Kingdom's pioneering steps it was taking towards achieving sustainable development with human beings as its pivotal core according to the Kingdom's vision 2030 which aims at achieving a comprehensive development to reach better future for the Kingdom and its people.
