King Salman Center for Disability Research has provided a number of initiatives in the interest of those with high capabilities under the slogan "Science is useful to the people as the Center spares no effort for attracting them in public life along with working to support them in all areas so that they can exercise their lives and achieve their aspirations. The center focuses its attentions on affairs of the high capabilities in Keeping up with progress being made in the scientific research in the world as it is also seeking through its programs to involve those with high capabilities in the society to contribute effectively to the development, it is worth mentioning that the Center initiated many research programs and projects in addition to studies based on scientific concepts in cooperation and coordination with many relevant local and global parties. The Center's efforts have resulted in several research initiatives, programs and projects that included rights, duties, care and rehabilitation to improve the quality of life for people with high capabilities and enabling them to utilize their own capacities as well as the methods of diagnosis and classification of disability and early intervention as research priorities as well as getting the people with high capabilities involved in the society whether in the health care, training and employment or the social, economic and psychological impact of disability. The Center also adopted a number of initiatives and completed a number of research and vital studies, which included many regions of the Kingdom to enrich knowledge about the cases of disability, prevention and development of treatment and care where the system of care for the disabled people in the Kingdom is seen as one of the initiatives of the Center and one of the largest achievements at the national level, which included aspects related to health, social, media and legal affairs, as well as employment opportunities and public utilities for those with high capabilities.
