Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh newspaper in its editorial entitled "Truth in the face of lies" wrote that the Minister of Media Dr. Awwad bin Saleh Al-Awwad stressed in his opening speech at the meeting of media ministers of the Coalition for Supporting the Legitimacy in Jeddah yesterday the importance of transmitting the truth and making it the first line of defense against hostile media practices of lying and misleading campaigns, in addition to non-professional practices of some international and regional media organizations broadcasting misleading political and humanitarian issues in Yemen without verifying their sources and working to fabricate charges against coalition countries. Al-Youm newspaper in its editorial entitled "The battle of Hodeidah and tampering with humanitarian topics" wrote on the bias of some United Nations reports towards Houthis with regard to the humanitarian side in the liberation of Hodeidah airport by the Yemeni National Army supported by the Coalition and do not report anything when the airport was under the control of Houthis, noting that this reveals the involvement of some UN officials in drafting these reports to serve the battle of Houthi rebels.
