Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh newspaper in its editorial on His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defense wrote that the appearance of the name of HRH Crown Prince on the lists of ones of the most influential international figures issued by the international media is an important indicator of the international conviction of HRH Crown Prince's reform and developmental project represented in the Kingdom's vision 2030, noting that this conviction has been formed due to the Kingdom's weight and active presence at international arenas and the Prince's personality of the leadership and his ability to make change, seriousness in implementation and determination in following-up. Al-Youm and Okaz newspapers commented on Iran, saying that the latest announcement of the new United States strategy against Iran by United States Secretary of State Mike Pompeo underscored President Trump's clear policy toward Iran aiming at intensifying sanctions to force the mullahs' government to bow to United States demands, not only on its nuclear activities, but also on the ballistic program and curbing Iranian influence in the region.
