The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud sent a cable of congratulations to Malaysia's Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad, on assumption of the premiership of his country.
In his cable, the Monarch said: On your assumption of the premiership post and on behalf of the people and Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, it's my pleasure to send to you our best wishes of good permanent health and happiness and for brotherly Malaysian people steady progress and prosperity.
