Saudi Ambassador to Singapore Saad bin Saleh Al-Saleh was present at a reception held at Changi Airport in Singapore for the Singaporean Umrah performers who came back in good health after having sustained injuries in a traffic accident while performing Umrah recently, resulting in the death of one of them and injury of others. During the reception, which was attended by Minister of Communications and Information and Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs in Singapore Dr. Yaacob Ibrahim, the Ambassador expressed his condolence to the victim's family, wishing the injured a speedy recovery. For his part, Dr. Ibrahim expressed thanks to and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for the care the Singaporean Umrah performers have received following the accident. He also thanked the Saudi Embassy in Singapore for its cooperation with the Singapore authorities as regards this matter.
