President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Gabriela Cuevas Barron has condemned the Houthi heinous ballistic missiles on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In a statement issued today during the 138th IPU General Assembly currently being held in Geneva, the IPU President informed the member states about the seven ballistic missiles launched by the Houthi militias targeting populated areas in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. She concluded that the IPU, as an international organization supporting security and peace around the world, strongly denounces these attacks against populated areas, particularly that the Security Council prevents the supply of weapons for militias, regardless of their sources.
