The General Council for Islamic Banks and Financial Institutions (CIBAFI), the global umbrella of Islamic financial institutions has announced its keynote speakers for CIBAFI Global Forum 2018. The Forum themed "The New Face of Financial Services: Disruptions, Opportunities and the New Normals", is organized in partnership with Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency of Turkey (BRSA) and will be held on 2 - 3 May 2018, in Istanbul, Turkey. The speakers include CIBAFI Secretary General Abdulilah Belatiq, Governor and Chairman of Palestinian Monetary Authority Council Azzam Al-Shawa, Governor of Astana International Financial Center Kairat Kelimbetov, Governor of Central Bank of Iraq Ali Mohsen Al-Alaq, Chairman of Board of Directors of Turkish Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency Mohammed Ali Akben, Chief Executive Officer of AlBaraka Banking Group Adnan Ahmed Yousef, Director General of Bank AlMaghreb Bouazza Abdul Rahim and Governor of Faisal Islamic Bank Abdulhamid Abu Mousa, in addition to the participation of experts of Islamic international industry from all over the world. CIBAFI Global Forum is an annual event where industry heavy weights, practitioners and academia meet to discuss transformational agendas. The Forum will shed light on how the industry fulfills its obligations while remaining competitive and relevant within financial markets globally.
