His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defense, met here today with Archbishop Justin Welby. The Crown Prince received Birmingham Quran manuscript, which is written in ink on parchment, using an Arabic Hijazi script. During the meeting, they stressed the importance of the role of different religions and cultures in promoting tolerance, renouncing violence, extremism and terrorism, and achieving security and peace for the peoples of the region and the world. The meeting was attended by Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Ambassador to the United Kingdom; Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel Al-Jubeir; and British Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Simon Collis.
