Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Awad bin Saleh Al-Awad, the Chairman of the General Authority for Culture, here this evening inaugurated the activities of the Saudi Cultural Days in the United Kingdom on the occasion of the official visit of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince, Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defense, to the United Kingdom. Dr. Awad bin Saleh Al-Awad toured the venue of the three-day events organized by the General Authority for Culture in cooperation with the Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Foundation "Charitable Misk," highlighting various aspects of Saudi culture, arts, heritage and its role in building bridges with other cultures and achieving their bright future under the vision of the Kingdom 2030 . In a press statement following the inauguration of the Saudi Cultural Days in London, the Minister of Culture and Information underlined the importance of the current visit by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz to the United Kingdom. He said, "We look forward to seeing the results of this visit on the march of bilateral relations." Dr. Al-Awwad stressed the active role of culture in building bridges of communication with other peoples as a soft force contributing to it. He added that the Ministry of Culture and Information focuses on enhancing cultural communication with different peoples. He pointed out that the Cultural Days events are the first event by the General Authority for Culture and is accompanied by HRH the Crown Prince's visit to the United Kingdom to inform the British people about the cultural and civilizational aspects of the Kingdom. The minister expressed the aspirations of the Ministry represented by the General Authority for Culture to enhance communication with different cultures and enhance the Saudi presence at the global level.
