The European Union's potential new member states in the Western Balkans and the situations in Syria and North Korea will be the main topics EU foreign ministers are set to discuss as they gather in Sofia, dpa reported. The two-day ministerial meeting beginning Thursday comes just one week after the EU laid out its new strategy to integrate the Western Balkans region. The plan lays out a clear path towards EU accession for six non-EU countries: Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, Macedonia and Albania.
