Tunisia's Minister of Religious Affairs Sheikh Ahmed Azoum has thanked the Government and people of the Kingdom f of Saudi Arabia for the donation of more than SR20 million to renovate Al-Zaytouna Mosque and King Abdulaziz Mosque in Tunis. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the minister said that this generous gesture comes within the framework of the Kingdom's continued care of mosques, pointing out that the Kingdom had previously donated an amount of $15 million for the maintenance of Aqba Ibn Nafie Mosque and the ancient city of Kairouan. He also praised the deep-rooted fraternal relations binding the two countries.
