Yemeni Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Nizar Basuhaib launched here today the humanitarian response plan for 2018, in Yemen, estimated at total cost worth $2,962,000,000, in collaboration with the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA). Dr. Basuhaib expressed thanks and appreciation of all partners, including the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSRelief) and the Emirates' Red Crescent, for making the plan, a success. The plan includes several stages, in different sectors of related to the displaced, refugees, health, education, water and services, targeting 22 million people, including 11 million of the most needy. Dr. Basuhaib stressed the need to focus relief efforts, in areas, most affected as they are under the control of the forces and militias loyal to the coup, where the aid does not reach the actual needy groups.
