Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh, Al-Youm and Okaz newspapers wrote in their editorials on the King's directive to deposit $ 2 billion US dollars for the account of Yemeni Central Bank, noting that this generous royal initiative embodies the Kingdom's concern about sisterly Yemen and keenness on alleviating the sufferings of the Yemeni people being suppressed by Iranian Houthi militias trying to steal from Yemenis their country and resources. The papers indicated that the total amount of Kingdom's deposits to the Central Bank of Yemen is 3 billion US dollars aiming to strengthen Yemen's financial position, especially the exchange rate of the Yemeni riyal, and assist the Yemeni people to cope with their economic burdens and consequences resulted from the crimes of Houthi terrorist militias, pointing out that the deposit represents one of many initiatives presented by the Kingdom to the Yemeni people for supporting them in peace and war.
