Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim Region, opened here yesterday the new building of the Cultural Center of the Agency of Ministry of Culture and Information for Cultural Affairs. Upon arrival at the venue, the Prince was received by Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Awwad bin Saleh Al-Awwad and a number of officials. Prince Faisal officially opened the new building, and he accompanied by Dr. Al-Awwad toured the Centre, watched its offices and exhibits and was briefed on its services. Prince Faisal delivered a speech in which he praised the establishing of such a center in the region which comes with the support of the Government under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, praising the efforts of the Minister of Culture and Information in the service of cultural and economic activities or every matter that serves the homeland in general and Qassim region in particular. For his part, Dr. Al-Awwad emphasized in his speech that the center will play a major role in supporting the cultural movement in Qassim Region, intellectuals and innovators who will be guests to the Cultural Center, pointing out that there is a great work by the Ministry of Culture and Information and General Authority for Culture to be announced soon that will support the cultural work in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. At the end of the ceremony, the Governor of Qassim Region received a commemorative shield from the Minister of Culture and Information.
