The Yemeni government has announced its first fiscal year's budget 2018, since the coup of Houthi militias backed by Iran in 2014. Prime Minister Ahmed Obeid bin Daghr said during a meeting in Aden with his country's Higher Committee to prepare the state's budget for the current fiscal year that this year's budget would be better than the one in 2014 despite all difficult conditions going on in the country . He stressed the importance of coverage all salaries and wages for employees in civil and military sectors, ensuring the continuation of payment regularly in the general budget for this year and overcoming obstacles occurred in the past fiscal year.
