Various Yemeni circles condemned here today a recent statement made by the United Nations' Resident Coordinator/Humanitarian Coordinator, in Yemen, Jamie McGoldrick, dismissing it as biased to Iranian-backed Houthi militia, which he named as the De facto Authority and legitimized it, in a move that would help in marketing the Iranian Houthi gang, to the world. A number of scholars, in Yemen, described the statement as provocative and considered it a shameful collusion with an armed militia that rebelled against legitimacy, UN resolutions and caused corruption, destruction and wreaked havoc, in Yemen.
