Yemeni Vice President Ali Mohsen Saleh urged all political parties and national organizations to close their ranks and exert strenuous efforts to confront the Iranian-backed Houthi putsch-wise militia, Yemeni official news agency, reported. During a meeting held here today, he discussed with a number of leaders of the Nasserite Popular Unionist Party leaders, latest developments and various issues, especially the role of political parties, in supporting legitimate and world recognized government led by President Mansur Hadi, and outright rejecting of the coup forces. He stressed that the legitimate political leadership is continuing to restore normalcy to the state, helped by local, regional and international support, which would, eventually, put an end to the havoc the Iranian-backed Houthi militia wreaked, in the country, stop its crimes against Yemen and the Yemenis, dry up their sources of violence and terrorism and build up a federal state, consisting of six provinces, in accordance with the Yemeni National Dialogue Conference resolutions.
