The Canadian Minister of International Development and La Francophonie Marie-Claude Bibeau has received here a number of Ambassadors of the Arab countries accredited to Canada, led by the Saudi Ambassador who is the Dean of the Council of Arab Ambassadors to Canada Naif bin Bandar Al-Sudairi. At the beginning of the meeting, the Canadian minister welcomed the Arab ambassadors, stressing the depth and strength of the historical ties between the Arab countries and her country. Ambassador Al-Sudairi made a statement in which he stressed that international law and legitimacy clearly defined the status of Al-Quds city of which the East Al-Quds is the capital of Palestine occupied by Israeli forces since 1967, and that any attempt to change the geographical and demographic status of East Al-Quds is illegal, void and flagrant violation of international law.
