Saudi Newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Yaum, Al-Riyadh and Okaz commented on the Saudi position toward Jerusalem issue, saying the Kingdom's position on Jerusalem and the Islamic sanctities has been firm and strong since the founder late King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman, as it has expressed its strong disappointment over the American decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. They added that the emergency meeting of the Security Council has not come up with positive results that reject all unilateral measures attempting to impose a new reality in Jerusalem on which its future will built. The Kingdom has provided all support for the Palestinian cause since 1948, and it is the largest supporter for the budget of the Palestinian Authority, the newspapers said.
