Secretary General of the Arab League Meets with UN Envoy to Libya

Secretary General of the Arab League Ahmad Abu Al-Ghait met here today with the UN Envoy to Libya Ghassan Salamah, who is currently visiting Egypt.
Arab League Secretary General's Spokesperson Mahmoud Afifi said that the meeting discussed the latest developments on the Libyan arena and ways of finding solutions to the crisis in Libya.
The spokesperson added that the UN Envoy presented ideas on how to settle the Libyan crisis.
He also added that Abu Al-Ghait and Salamah agreed in this context to intensify the coordination and cooperation between the Arab League and the United Nations in order to encourage the Libyan parties to engage in the political process.
