Yemeni Transport Minister Murad Al-Halimi affirmed that the continuing arms smuggling to the Houthi and Saleh coup militias in Yemen represents a threat to the security and safety of the international navigation. During his speech before the 30th Conference of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) in London, he added that the Yemeni legitimate government works with the Arab Coalition to prevent such violations which destabilize the regional and international security and peace. Al-Halimi confirmed that Yemen seeks to enhance the regional and international cooperation in order to ensure security and safety of the maritime environment.
