The Saudi-Swiss Business Forum, organized by the Council of Saudi Chambers, reviewed at its headquarters yesterday means of enhancing trade and investment relations between the two business sectors and investment opportunities available in both countries. On this event, the Chairman of the Saudi side in Saudi-Swiss Business Council of the Council of Saudi Chambers Salah bin Abdul Hadi Al-Qahtani lauded strong relations between the Kingdom and Switzerland, adding that the volume of trade between the two countries reached $ 2.7 billion in 2016, as Switzerland ranked 15th among the most important countries from which the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia imported, while it ranked 46th among the countries for Saudi exports and there are currently 58 joint investment projects between the two countries. He expressed his hope for further trade and investment exchanges to meet the expectations of the two leaderships and their peoples by setting strong foundations and diversified cooperation between the two public and private sectors and benefiting from the Kingdom's sustainable investment and development opportunities in light of its vision 2030.
