UN Envoy on the Syrian Crisis Stefan de Mistura called on the Syrian opposition delegation to hold Syrian-Syrian talks, in Geneva starting on November 28, a statement released from his Office announced here today. The statement added that the international envoy was briefed on the results of the conference held by the expanded Syrian opposition, in Riyadh, with the participation of all opposition components, specified in Security Council resolution 2254 of 2015 and a wide range of other elements, inside and outside Syria. De Mistura also was fully informed of the Syrian opposition's acceptance that the only reference to the negotiations are the relevant UN resolutions, as well as unequivocal rejection of the opposition to terrorism and emphasis on resolving the crisis, politically.
