Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Alyaum and Al-Riyadh newspapers commented on Lebanon, saying that following Premier Saad Al-Hariri's resignation broadcast on television from Riyadh during his visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, there are a wide range of reactions and repercussions over his resignation leading to confuse the Lebanese political spectrum as a whole. The newspapers noted that when Premier Al-Hariri appeared in an official meeting with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, in some receptions and his visit to Abu Dhabi, it was claimed that they were just pictures for television consumption, and the Kingdom has imposed resignation on him in an unprecedented libel campaign against the Kingdom which inspires a simple Lebanese citizen that it is not Iran that interferes in the affairs of Lebanon, but it is the Kingdom doing so. The newspapers confirmed that Hezbollah keeps trying to deny Al-Hariri's freedom in announcing his resignation and it cut off the broadcasting of Al-Hariri interview with Al-Mustaqbal channel from its audience in some of its areas as the Lebanese Premier refutes Hezbollah's claims over his resignation, and stressed that the Kingdom has not intervened in Lebanese affairs until Iranian rockets were fired from the strongholds of Al-Houthi by Hezbollah's terrorist administration towards Riyadh capital.
