On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Dr. Awwad bin Saleh Al-Awwad, Minister of Culture and Information, attended here today the opening ceremony of the Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum. The museum was opened by UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum; Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and President of France Emmanuel Macron in attendance of King Mohammed VI of Morocco, King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, President Mohammed Ashraf Ghani of Afghanistan, and a host of guests representing several brotherly and friendly countries. Then, they toured the museum which the first to bear the Louvre name outside France.
