Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Yaum newspaper said in its editorial headlined "King Salman's Storm against Corruption" that if corruption prevails in any nation, it will disrupt the mechanisms of development, progress, prosperity and renaissance in it, stressing that the eradication of the scourge of corruption from its roots is very important. Al-Riyadh newspaper commended the royal order issued on Saturday evening to form a high anti-corruption committee chaired by the Crown Prince to expose the corruption and account the corrupted, noting that the Committee will stop wasting the Kingdom's huge resources which have benefited only a few people who have exploited their posts to accumulate a huge wealth at the expense of the development of the homeland and citizens' prosperity.
