The Minister of Finance Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan met here yesterday with the Governor of Norwegian Central Bank Professor Oystein Olsen in the presence of the Chairman of Board of Directors of the Bank for Investment Management Yngve Slyngstad. During the meeting, the two sides discussed economic relations between the Kingdom and Norway. Minister Al-Jadaan reviewed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's vision 2030 and the measures adopted by the Kingdom to promote economic growth, provide job opportunities, support small and medium enterprises and increase the contribution of the private sector to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP). For his part, the Governor of the Norwegian Central Bank stressed that his country is interested in the Kingdom's vision, noting that such initiatives contribute to the growth process for the interest of the Kingdom and the region. The meeting was attended by Deputy Governor of Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority for Research and International Affairs Dr. Fahd Al-Shathri and Undersecretary of Ministry of Finance for International Financial Affairs Dr. Khalid Al-Khudairy.
