The International Donor Conference to fund the response plan for the humanitarian crisis of the Rohingyas, being organized by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and Sponsored by the State of Kuwait and the European Union has started its activities in Geneva. The delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia led by Dr Yahya Al-Shammari, Director of Public Partnerships and International Relations at King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid, and included Saudi Ambassador to the United Nations in Geneva Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Wasel and Partnerships and International Relations Specialist at King Salman Center Abdulaziz Al-Mazroua. The conference aims to raise US $ 434 million to help 900,000 Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh, as well as 300,000 others expected to be displaced in the next few weeks.
