Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Aboul Gheit has condemned the Israeli authorities' use of violence and other arbitrary measures against the Palestinian residents of occupied Al-Quds, especially in the vicinity of Al-Aqsa Mosque, which resulted in many serious injuries, including the injury of the Imam of Al-Aqsa Mosque. The Secretary General called on the Israeli occupation authorities to immediately cease all these practices and procedures and to fully respect the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque. He also said that these measures are a clear violation of international human rights law.
