Secretary General of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Centre for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue (KAICIID) Faisal Bin Abdulrahman Bin Muaammar affirmed that the global achievement of producing the global plan to activate the role of religious leaders in preventing and combating violence is credit for the Center and the partners in this plan. This came in a speech by the Secretary of the Center during his participation this week in a friendly meeting at the United Nations to launch the global plan to activate the role of religious leaders in preventing incitement to violence and combating it, especially leading to genocide. In his speech, the Secretary General thanked the United Nations, represented by its Secretary-General, for the important initiative and United Nations initiatives to establish sustainable development for peace, coexistence and comprehensive solutions that address the root causes of conflicts and problems. The Secretary General of King Abdullah Center said the center supports the efforts of the Secretary General of the United Nations through the efforts of the founding States of the Center, first and foremost the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Austria, Spain and the Vatican as an observer and through its Board of Directors, which includes representatives of five major religions in the world: Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism and Hinduism. He explained that "the Center was able to harness the tools and means of dialogue and to create the participation of those involved in the religious affairs of individuals and institutions to contribute to the production of this global plan and this global achievement is credit for the Center and partners in this global plan.
