The General Supervisor of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud For Relief and Humanitarian Works (KSRelief) Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabiah expressed his thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for the urgent response to fight and contain the cholera epidemic in Yemen. This Support comes by the direction of the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, to provide $ 66.7 million in response to the call of the World Health Organization and UNICEF to combat the cholera epidemic and get rid of the causes of it. In a press statement, Dr. Al-Rabiah said that this comes as an extension of the support provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the brothers in Yemen through the center. Since the beginning of June, 133 projects were implemented in all governorates of Yemen with total amount US $ 228,424,103, he said. Dr. Al-Rabiah added that the center recently carried out a convoy to combat cholera epidemic in Yemen containing 550 tons of intravenous solutions, anti-drought solution and doses of antibiotic dedicated to the treatment of cholera.
