Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Yaum newspaper wrote an article entitled "The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is the center of the Gulf and a guarantee of its security", saying that the Kingdom in the geopolitical concept is the strategic depth of all the Gulf Countries, noting that its area, demography and topographical extension confirm this, and GCC protocols, political and military memory prove that the Kingdom always has felt this role neither with the logic of parenthood nor as a guardian as claimed by some Qatari media, but with the logic of brotherhood, unity of the path, shared destiny, responsibilities of neighborliness and the unity of interests. Al-Riyadh newspaper wrote about the last ten days of the holy month of Ramadan saying, that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud is in Makkah to supervise the vast services being provided for Muslims coming to the Grand Holy Mosque from all over the world.
