The European Union's Trade Commissioner Cecilia Malmstroem, called on China to apply "reciprocity" in its trade and investment relationships with the bloc on Friday, dpa reported. The EU is hosting a Chinese delegation led by Prime Minister Li Keqiang, who is meeting the EU's most senior leaders : European Council President Donald Tusk and Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker. Both sides are expected to declare their willingness to assume a leading role in tackling climate change, following the decision by US President Donald Trump to withdraw from the Paris climate agreement. But differences remain over how much access China should give European investors and businesses to its market.
