Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, made a telephone call today to President Mohammed Ashraf Ghani of Afghanistan. During the telephone conversation, Sheikh Mohamed voiced his strong condemnation of the heinous terrorist attacks that took place in the diplomatic district in Kabul, in which scores of innocent people were killed and injured. Sheikh Mohamed reaffirmed the UAE's stand with Afghanistan at this delicate time of confronting terrorism, and reiterated UAE's firm position in rejection of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. He also expressed sympathy and offered condolences to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to the injured. President Ghani thanked Sheikh Mohamed for his noble feelings.
