OIC Secretary General Meets with UNRWA Commissioner-General

Dr. Yousef bin Ahmad Al-Othaimeen, Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), received here today Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees Pierre Krahenbuhl.
During the meeting, they discussed issues of common interest.
For his part, Dr. Al-Othaimeen stressed importance of supporting the UNRWA in serving the Palestinian refugees.
The two sides also discussed preparations regarding holding an international meeting on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in order to enhance response of the member states to the agency's needs.
