The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has confirmed its achievement most of 17 goals of the United Nations comprehensive sustainable development, surpassing the objectives of the United Nations Plan 2030 as a result of the structural reforms adopted by the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in social, financial, administrative and productive areas, noting that its average annual economic growth amounts to about 3.6 percent, higher than the global average. This came in the Kingdom's address at the Second Forum of Economic and Social Council on follow-up to financing for development held at United Nations Headquarters delivered by Assistant Undersecretary for Planning and National Policies at Ministry of Economy and Planning Abdullah bin Ali Al-Marwani. He pointed out that the Kingdom's vision 2030, especially the National Transformation Program 2020, aims to achieve the United Nations objectives by encouraging and paving the way for investment initiatives in human capital, infrastructure, education, health and alternative energy to diversify the economic base and promote social gains from comprehensive development.
