20 Global companies turn the dream of Riyadh city into reality: Train of smart tracks

More than 3 years have passed since the start of the implementation of King Abdulaziz Project for Public Transportation in Riyadh. The project, a dream for the people of Riyadh, is set to finish next year as planned. It consists of modern network of train system supported by multiple networks levels of bus transport systems, to ease the burden of congestion in Riyadh city which now has more than 8 million trips daily done by more than 6 million passengers.
King Abdulaziz Project for Public Transportation in Riyadh has many privileges, besides the massive size of the project as it covers one of the largest capitals of the world and the short period of its execution in five years, it has high technical designing specifications and harmony with social, constructional and environmental characteristics of the city of Riyadh which enjoys the care of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud as the rest of the cities in the kingdom.
20 global big companies belong to 11 countries in the world have turned Riyadh into workshops that do not calm down, where Saudi and foreign carders are working around the clock among the ground tunnels and high bridges.
Residents of Riyadh who will be in 1450 H. more than 8.3 million will be having the choice among different choices of transportation methods through a public transportation system that has a safe, active and sophisticated system.
In order to maintain the smooth flow of traffic in the roads of the city of Riyadh and to ensure the operation of the railway project, a team of specialized consultants was formed to study traffic and its impact on construction works and then design the proper traffic detours, and another team to conduct field visits to residences, offices and commercial centers in areas adjacent to the project sites to familiarize them with the elements of the traffic plan and listen to their suggestions and opinions about the work. The free Dalila Riyadh application was also launched on mobile devices to help vehicle drivers choose the best alternatives to traffic at work locations within the project and parts of the city. The consolidated number 19933 and the project Twitter, Facebook and YouTube accounts receive queries from the population.
