Foreign Minister Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir affirmed that the visit of President Donald Trump to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a beginning of building a new era in bilateral relations and enhancing cooperation between the two countries and the Arab and Islamic world. In a press conference held here today with his US counterpart Rex Tillerson, Al-Jubeir pointed out that the strategic partnership agreements, co-signed by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and President Donald Trump of the United States of America will develop into a strong strategic partnership. Foreign Minister said that extremism and terrorism will be addressed through combating them, in addition to increasing defense capabilities and joint defense cooperation, describing the visit as historic and opens the bonds of mutual cooperation between the two countries in the fields of trade, investment and education, promoting cooperation against challenges facing both countries. Al-Jubeir said that the signed agreements between the leaders of the two countries to strengthen the strategic partnership are unprecedented.
