Chelsea clinched their second Premier League title in three seasons as they won 1-0 at West Bromwich Albion on Friday. Substitute Michy Matshuayi scored the only goal of the game on 82 minutes, giving Chelsea an unassailable 10-point lead over Tottenham at the top. Matshuayi stabbed the ball home from close range with eight minutes to go to give Antonio Conte the title in his first season as manager. "I think this achievement is a great achievement for the players. I have to say thanks for their commitment and work-rate all season," Conte said. "They showed me great attitude, great patient, great will to try to do something great this season. Now we must be happy." Ten months after they finished 10th as champions, Chelsea regained the title with two games still to play and manager and players celebrated their achievement in style in front of their travelling fans.
