Yemeni governorates liberated from the control of Al-Houthi and Saleh coup militias are witnessing an unprecedented reconstruction process. In a speech during a recent meeting he held with governors of nine Yemeni governorates, President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi has called those governors for reconstruction in the liberated governorates and directed the government of Yemeni Prime Minister Ahmed Obeid bin Daghr to begin reconstruction after the support received by the legitimate government from the international community to start reconstruction process. He said that his government would focus on electricity, water, health, education, roads, communications and others, so that citizens could feel the transformation. "We are going on the stage of construction and reconstruction in a broad and comprehensive sense, with the aim of advancing towards a better tomorrow and a prosperous future that requires redefining the general goals of the next phase according to a comprehensive economic, social and cultural vision and making plans, studies and designs as quick as possible including urgent plans in the fields of electricity, education, health, water, roads and communications with comprehensive development in urban sides and the countryside" Dhaghr said. The plans include social and cultural areas, aimed at alleviating poverty and destitution in the country, raising awareness, tolerance, and rejection of violence and terrorism. " He pointed out that the war waged by the coup militias caused the martyrdom of thousands. He added that his country is on the verge of a real transformation to build the country on a variety of bases and stable rules that will achieve stability and justice whereas no one will be able to threaten our security or disturb the general tranquility of us, our brothers and our Arab nations or tamper with our regional and national security. Dhaghr also added that the common committee in its 18th meeting held in Riyadh recently to define the developmental needs of the republic of Yemen is working on a vision to speed up the implementation of urgent development projects for the benefit of the Yemeni people, pointing out that member states of Gulf Cooperation Council have provided 70% of the funds earmarked for the development of Yemen after the donor conference allocated $ 15 billion for the development of Yemen. He stressed that this common committee comes as a result of the vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to integrate Yemen economically with the GCC countries and become one economy.
