Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas.
Okaz newspaper commented on the old alliance between the Kingdom and the United States of America, saying that after meeting recently with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, US Secretary of Defense James Mattis stressed that it is in the interest of the United States that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia should be strong, as it is the first wall of resistance to confront Iran in Yemen and Bahrain and curb Daesh (ISIS) following its experience in fighting Al-Qaeda.
