The fifth session of the joint Saudi-Ukrainian Committee was concluded on Thursday. The session was co-chaired by Saudi Minister of Transport Sulaiman bin Abdullah Al-Hamdan and Ukrainian Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Taras Kutovyy. The Minister of Transport delivered a speech in which he stressed the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the President of the Republic of Ukraine to support cooperation and relations between the two countries in various fields, adding that the two countries enjoy considerable capabilities to further enhance bilateral cooperation and to overcome all challenges to serve the common interest. For his part, the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food thanked the Saudi side for the warm hospitality and welcome, expressing appreciation of the Saudi government for its keenness to enhance cooperation in agricultural and industrial fields. The two sides signed the minutes of the fifth session which included enhancing cooperation between the two sides in various fields of trade, agriculture, investment, energy, mineral resources, telecommunications, information technology, livestock, education, media and tourism.
