MISK Art Festival, organized by Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Foundation (MISK), started today its four-day activities at Durrat Al-Riyadh Resort in the north of Riyadh city with the participation of 150 male and female artists representing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and 15 artists from the Arab Gulf and a number of countries in the world. In a meeting yesterday, Chairman of the media committee of MISK Art Festival Youssef Al-Hammadi said, "The festival allows artists to disseminate their creations in plastic painting, sculpture, digital arts, animation, art replicas and other visual arts,", adding that the festival allows them selling their work at specialized art galleries. He stressed that MISK Foundation aims, through this festival, at supporting the society in its art experience and helping it to highlight and develop it as well as to enrich the artistic society in the Kingdom and establish the first bases for the development of the future art market.
