Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Places First in World Offshore Powerboat Championship Preliminary Race

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia placed first in the preliminary race for the World Offshore Powerboat Championship, which began yesterday in the city of Yanbu.
Meanwhile, Turkey placed second, the United Kingdom placed third, and the United Arab Emirates came fourth, in the biggest adventure sports on water.
A representative for the International Water Sports Federation, Captain Ahmed Albalushi said that the best powerboats from all over the world were timed by officials who marked their record time to complete the distance range.
The people of Yanbu welcomed the powerboat-racing event and turned out in great numbers to watch the first offshore world championship hosted in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
