Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh, Al-Sharq and Al-Youm newspapers commented in their editorials on Yemen, saying that the Iranian regime supports coup forces in Yemen with advanced weapons and dispatches to it Iranian, Afghan and Lebanese military advisers for continuing the war against the legitimate government, pointing in this regard to the increase in the size of Iranian aid to the putschists through training, arming and financial support. The papers noted that the Iranian regime claims that it is trying to change the balance of power in the region and revive its ancient Persian civilization by enabling the militias of Al-Houthi and deposed Saleh's forces to strengthen their grip and influence in the region and extend it to other countries, noting that the Iranian regime is planning to establish militias in Yemen similar to Hezbollah militias in Lebanon.
