Deputy Minister of Human Rights of Yemen, Dr. Mohammed Askar met here today, ambassadors of the GCC to United Nations in Geneva, on the sidelines of the 34th session of the Human Rights Council. Dr. Askar praised support of neighboring countries, particularly Saudi Arabia, by full adoption of the Gulf initiative and executive mechanism to save Yemen from slipping to the square of violence. Dr. Askar said that the international community, UN and GCC countries agree on the solution in Yemen, based on Gulf initiative and its executive mechanism, outputs of the national dialogue, and UN Security Council Resolution 2216.
