The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud visited here today the Indonesian House of Representatives. Upon his arrival at the headquarters of the House of Representatives, the King was received by its Speaker Setya Novanto, and senior officials. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques signed in the record visits, expressing his happiness to visit the House of Representatives, looking forward that the House contributes to strengthening the existing relations between the two countries in all areas, increasing the Islamic solidarity and contributing to international stability and peace. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques delivered a speech at the House, saying, '' I would like to express my deep appreciation to the Government and people of the Republic of Indonesia for the warm welcome and generous hospitality, expressing my happiness to be with you. This visit to your sisterly country preceded by the previous visit of the President to the Kingdom and mutual visits between officials of the two countries, come to strengthen our cooperation in all fields to serve the interests and aspirations of our two sisterly countries. The challenges facing the Islamic nation, particularly, and the world generally, topped by the phenomenon of extremism and terrorism, the clash of cultures, non-respect for sovereignty of countries, and interference in their internal affairs, necessitate that we stand united in confronting these challenges and coordinate stances and efforts to serve our common interests and international peace and security. In conclusion, I commend the House's role in in enhancing relations between our two sisterly countries in all areas, praising what has been signed in this visit of agreements and memorandums of understanding between the two countries. --More
