(SPA) launched on Monday a Farsi (Persian) speaking channel in Telegram application. The President of Saudi Press Agency Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Hussein pointed out that the channel is one of SPA news products that achieve the media message by targeting specific segments through the use of modern technology. He said, "We launch the service to keep abreast with the technology and broadcast new news and other press items to reach the segment of Farsi language speakers through Telegram application'', considering the channel as a complement of the SPA approach for effective communication in various digital platforms to facilitate the delivery of the latest news and developments and emanating from SPA strategy to communicate news with the public of social networks. SPA President Al-Hussein stressed that the channel is a new news arm to be added to a series of news services being broadcast by SPA in several international languages, noting that SPA is currently tweeting in English, French and Farsi (Persian), and several languages will be added soon.
